For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions apply: (1) ‘Union type-approval authority’ means a type-approval authority of a Member State other than the United Kingdom; (2) ‘UK type-approval’ means an EC type-approval or EU type-approval granted by the UK type-approval authority; (3) ‘Union type-approval’ means an EU type-approval granted by a Union type-approval authority in accordance with this Regulation. |
