1. The Commission shall ensure that appropriate coordination and cooperation between bodies notified under this Regulation are put in place and properly operated in the form of a group or groups of notified bodies, where appropriate including groups of bodies notified under the same delegated act adopted pursuant to Article 4 or in relation to similar conformity assessment tasks.
Notified bodies shall participate in the work of any relevant group, directly or by means of designated representatives. 2. Notified bodies shall apply as general guidance any relevant documents produced as a result of the work of the groups referred to in paragraph 1. 3. The coordination and cooperation in the groups referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be aimed at ensuring the harmonised application of this Regulation and of the delegated acts adopted pursuant to Article 4. In doing so, those groups shall take into account the relevant guidance and recommendations issued by the competent technical committees of the European standardisation bodies. |
