Manual Inspirational Collection 26 X 36-Inch Wall Hanging and Finial Rod, Autumn Tranquility with Verse by Nicky Boehme, 36 X 26-Inch. Manual Woodworkers and Weavers brings you a fresh way to display your favorite images and showcase inspiring message with their collection of hanging wall art with included finial hanging rod. Although Thomas Lemuel Oates started Manual Woodworkers and Weavers in 1932, the story goes back further. The roots of the company can be found in Oates' entrepreneurial spirit. He and his brother used to farm the mountain areas of Bat Cave in western North Carolina. They would also help their mother find materials for her crafts. The sons began to make wooden whistles, buckets and bird-houses. They would sell their wares along with her crafts to the people from Charlotte that came through in their horse-drawn buggies on the way to the mountains. Later, Thomas worked at the Ashville Postcard Company. When the Depression hit, he lost his job, but it inspired him to go into business and sell crafts, like cornhusk dolls and woven pieces, that were produced by the local women. He had learned about the wholesale business while working at Ashville. He built a waterwheel to generate electricity at a mill, began making product and opened shop. Over the years, he expanded the company. His son, Lemuel Oates, who would next manage the company, says he worked in the business from a young age. He explains the products were made from cotton scraps left over from making socks. Half-inch circles would be looped together to form a variety of products. Lemuel Oates went to college and then settled in Richmond. In December 1973, he returned to Bat Cave and took over the company. In 2007 his son Travis and his daughter, Molly Oates Sherrill, took over the business.

Trademark Fine Art, 18x18 Farmall Fall by Marnie Bourque. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a red tractor in the center of a green landscape. I am a mostly self taught artist, living in a small picturesque town in Connecticut. From fields of sunflowers, spring trees in bloom, snowy landscapes, and places I travel, I can find inspiration anywhere. I also tend to be inspired by tractors, or my Dad’s first car, a 1929 Model A Ford, which I place in different landscapes. My children grown up, and being laid off from a technical job, now gives me time to pursue my dream of being an artist. Primarily painting with oils, I prefer a looser style, where the viewer has to work a bit to see details within the brush strokes. A lover of color, I will add my favorite paint, permanent rose whenever I can. Daily painting and taking classes from local artists, helps me to improve and keep challenging myself. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

Northwest Art Mall 11 x 17 Poster Mount Hood by Paul A. Lanquist. Paul A. Lanquist (”PAL”) is a Northwest artist who currently lives near Mt. St. Helens Washington with his wife and family. Paul is a dedicated outdoor enthusiast, has been a commercial artist and Illustrator for 20 years and has worked for a variety of companies such as Fred Meyer, Danner Boots, GI Joe's, Whole Foods, Luhr Jensen, and Princess Cruise Lines. His unique style captures the rugged, quaint, friendly and dignified personality of life in United States and Canada. Paul believes that part of being a good illustrator is learning to build from past experience and to study the work of other American illustrators. Through the years Paul has gravitated to the work of illustrators from the 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s that use color and design to communicate their ideas in a straightforward way. The natural beauty of America is another important influence in Paul's work. By combining the nostalgic look and feel of the past with the spectacular scenery of this country, Paul has created destination and travel items that capture the beauty and lifestyle found there.

Here Comes The Sun by Carrie Schmitt, 35x47-Inch Canvas Wall Art. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a bouquet of red, orange, and yellow flowers in a tall blue vase. Carrie schmitt's first childhood memory is standing behind her mother's leg while apologizing to her neighbor for picking all the flowers from her garden. Today, she has found a more honest way to enjoy flowers--she paints them as part of her mission to create beauty every day. Carrie began painting in 2009 after developing a life-threatening allergy to heat. No longer able to spend time in her beloved garden, she began painting flowers instead of planting them. In 2010, she moved to the Seattle area to enjoy its temperate climate and now paints daily in her Mountain studio surrounded by Moss and towering evergreens.
