1883 by Lucchese Men's N1007.J4 Western Boot. The Lucchese story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder’s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot-making. Sam Lucchese Jr.’s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese’s exclusive boot last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit. Every Lucchese boot is hand inspected twice. In virtually every procedure during the production on a Lucchese boot, human hands are relied upon to complete the task to near-perfection. Every inch of a Lucchese boot is made of the finest grade of leathers. Slip your foot into a Lucchese and experience comfort you never thought possible.

Johnston & Murphy Men's Knowland Boot. Throughout time, many things change. A few, however, never do. Work doesn't look like it used to. Suits aren't necessarily the uniform, and Johnston & Murphy knows it. Since 1850, Johnston & Murphy has made shoes that work in the corner office, and play at the corner bar. They realize that men today have to walk the line between modern and classic, cool and comfortable; and believe there is room for uniquely American design, modern form, and hand craftsmanship at any size. Johnston & Murphy has helped professional, affluent men dress to impress for more than 156 years, and are not finished yet. Much has changed since 1850, the names, the styles, the locations. But through it all, one thing has been constant: Johnston & Murphy has remained a pillar of classic workmanship, and a beacon of American style, maintaining a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation that set the standards for men everywhere.

Justin Original Work Men's Stampede, Rugged Tan Steel Toe, 8.5 EE US. The Standard of the West Since 1879 The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today. Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots. When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justins patented J-Flex Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the .Standard Of The West Since 1879.

L.B. Evans Men's Lars. In 1804, T. & A. Evans (Thomas and Amos) were running a small shoe business connected with a general store in the town of South Reading. There was no shoe factory as we know it today, just a small shop where Thomas and Amos cut the leather for their shoes. The actual shoe making was farmed out among the people of the town, while Thomas and Amos supplied them with uppers, soles, counters and heels to be assembled into shoes. All shoes were sewed by hand whenever the shoemaker-farmers could spare the time. Today L.B. Evans is owned and operated as a division of Daniel Green Enterprises. Many of the traditional gentleman's slipper styles are still part of the line, but the business has grown to include new updated classics, premium products including elk and deer, and an array or rugged, warm outdoor styles. Daniel Green Enterprises remains committed to the quality and comfort guarantee that the Evans brothers established over 200 years ago.
