Up to three 10-second voice memos can also be stored in the memory for use by the master station operator for reminders and notes. A call can be answered by either holding down the answering button for push-to-talk action or by tapping the answering button for hands-free communication with the caller. The door-release button works with an electric strike (sold separately) to remotely unlock the entrance for the visitor and, when used with two door stations and the Aiphone RY-3DL door-release adapter (sold separately), the master operator can select which connected door to release. The call button initiates audio communication with connected sub-master stations for remote communication.
