The secret to enjoying your hot beverage at just the right temperature with the Brugo is its innovative temperature control chamber, which quickly brings each sip of your coffee or tea to the perfect temperature with a quick tip of the wrist. The best temperature for brewing coffee is a scalding 205 degrees (F), while the best temperature for drinking coffee is a comfortably hot 150 to 170 degrees. At this temperature range--the Perfect Temperature Zone (or, PTZ)-- your tastebuds sense the maximum flavor of your beverage. A regular cup of coffee, if you wait long enough, will eventually cool to the PTZ, but it will only stay in that zone for a short amount of time before it becomes too cool and acquires a bitter taste. If you remove the lid or add ice, you'll get to the PTZ sooner, but it will shorten your time in the zone even further.
