However, at only 2 inches high at its tallest point and only about an inch high for most of its length, it isn't the best saw for cutting crown molding or tall stock. There are miter detents at 31.6, 45, 22-1/2, and 15 degrees on both sides, with a maximum miter of 45 degrees to the left and a full 60 degrees to the right. We found that the table holds its position tightly between detents, but the lever to lift the peg out of the detent slots seems a bit weak and unwieldy.
