coralSLover Live Saltwater Coral Frag - Green Star Polyps. Green Star Polyps are a great starting coral for beginners. They grow fast and are hardy. Frags are roughly 3/4 to 1 in diameter. Star Polyps are a common beauty that is iconic in the hobby. It is hard to find a seasoned aquarist that has not owned green star polyps (or GSP for short) at one point or another in their enjoyment of reef aquariums. They are a hardy soft coral that grows quickly in encrusting mats. They do best in strong flow as their base tends to attract algae growth. Green Star Polyps are not very sensitive to the intensity of lighting provided. You can keep them almost anyway in the tank, most of the time reefer like to glue GSP on overflow box, or back wall, and it will grow over and make gress like wall. Moderate to high water movement is recommended for Green Star Polyps. These polyps require enough water flow to keep detritus from settling on them. Increased water flow also appears to speed up their growth rate. Pachyclavularia relies heavily on the products of their zooxanthellae but also may feed on phytoplankton and similarly sized microfauna in the water column.

Yellow Polyps. The Yellow Polyps may grow rapidly and has a bright yellow gold body color which makes it a gorgeous and brilliant addition to any reef tank. These are non-venomous but are semi aggressive in nature. The Yellow Polyps show symbiotic relation with zooxanthellae, which is a type of algae. This alga hides and seeks shelter in the Yellow Polyps coral and undergoes photosynthesis. Due to photosynthesis this alga provides oxygen and nutrients to the coral. Therefore, it needs an intermediate water flow and lighting condition in the aquarium. The Yellow Polyps are relatively easy to maintain and grows easily if the proper water parameters are met. The Yellow Polyps might get consumed by Aiptasia eating animals like Peppermint Shrimp due to similarity between it. The Yellow Polyps are mainly collected from the regions of Indonesia. The Yellow Polyps are soft corals and also known as yellow polyps. Each polyp is individual and does not connect in any way. They have long tentacles and also have thin long stalks as compared to other polyps. The Yellow Polyps can be easily propagated and are very easy to grow without the need of any special requirement. It does well within the temperature range of at least 72 to 84 degrees. The Yellow Polyps are a great and terrific addition to any reef tank, and it propagates in the tank quite easily.

Red Cherry Shrimp Fire Red SS Grade Live Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp - 1/4 to 1 inch Long (5 Shrimp). Fire Red Shrimp SS Grade are our highest Red Cherry shrimp grade, one of the most common shrimps in the hobby. These have deep red opaque color, most of the legs are red. They are around 3/4 to 1 inch long, mostly female shrimp. CARING - Red Cherry Shrimp are easy to care for as they can adapt to a wide range of water parameters, they can be kept in either soft or hard water. We recommend keeping them in hard water with a gH of at least 8 for them to show their best color. Aquarium should be fully cycled before introducing any shrimp. There should be no trace Ammonia and Nitrite, Nitrate should be under 25ppm. Weekly water change of 10-20% is suggested to keep the nitrate low. Feed only 2-3 times a week as overfeeding will cause shrimp death. BREEDING - Red Cherry Shrimp is fairly easy, if there is a male and female in the aquarium, they will breed. Female shrimp will carry the eggs for about 30 days until they are hatched to miniature size of their parents. It is important to have a well established aquarium in order for the shrimplets to survive as they can only consume biofilms until they grow older. We recommend to only keep one strain of Neocaridina shrimp per tank because of crossbreeding, which will revert the offsprings back to wild color. Common Name: Red Cherry Shrimp, Fire Red Shrimp, Painted Fire Red, PFR Scientific name: Neocaridina davidi Maximum Size: 1.5 Water Parameters: pH 6.5 - 7.5gH 6 - 12kH 0 - 10TDS 250 - 350Temperature 68 – 78F.

Care for this shrimp is identical to all varieties of Cherry, Neon Yellow, Blue Velvet, Sapphire, Blue/Black Diamond, Chocolate, Snowball, and Rili Shrimp. It is comparably durable as well. This shrimp is a scavenger and is very useful in planted and nano aquariums. The bulk of its diet is biofilm and decaying plant matter so it will work diligently to clear up any aquarium. Aquatic Arts 1 Live Chopstick Snail | Aquarium Substrate Sand Clearer/Biofilm Eater | Sulawesi Native/Tropical Fish Tank Snail. The Chopstick Snail (Stenomelania torulosa) is an excellent scavenger and substrate sifter with a unique, spike-shaped appearance. Though it is native to the warm Sulawesi lake system and other waterways of Indonesia, this snail can thrive in lower water temperatures than many other Sulawesi animals. This snail is very slow moving and spends most of its time climbing aquarium terrain and burrowing in the substrate. It is great at keeping your gravel or aquarium soil naturally aerated and free of biofilm and gases that build up within it, and it can do this without harming any plant root. Feeding and care is very easy for the hardy Chopstick Snail. It requires the same maintenance and conditions as most tropical aquarium snails. It will eat nearly any high-quality dry and frozen foods, but it will also feed heavily on biofilm and decaying plant matter in the aquarium. It does not harm aquarium plants, so it is completely safe to keep in a planted tank. This snail is a very slow aquarium breeder as well (females will only produce one offspring at a time), so you should not have to worry about snail overpopulation in your home aquarium. They are similar in appearance to Malaysian Trumpet Snails, but do not breed nearly as fast. They are peaceful and thus safe to keep with nonaggressive freshwater fish (such as Danio fish, Corydora Catfish, etc.), dwarf shrimp, large shrimp, and other freshwater snails. Basic aquarium supplies are required when raising these snails, such as a tank filter system (e.g. reactor filter, poly filter etc.) and perhaps an aquarium air diffuser (such as an air stones). CARE GUIDELINES: - Temperature: 72° - 86° F (22° - 30° C) - pH: 7.0 - 8.2 - KH: 2 - 12 dKH - Minimum tank size: 5 gallons per snail - Average adult size: 1 - 2.5 (2.5 - 3.8 cm) - Average purchase size: 1/2 - 1 (1.3 - 6.4 cm).

Potted Indian Red Echinodorus Sword - Beginner Tropical Live Aquarium Plant. The Indian Red Sword is a hybrid between Echinodorus uruguayensis and Echinodorus aschersonianus, which gives the adult leaves their red coloration. If the conditions are not ideal, the plant grows more slowly, a bit smaller, and the deep red coloration of the leaves will turn more rust to green in color. This species is amphibious and will grow either submersed or partially submersed. Requiring little attention after the initial planting, the Indian Red Sword is a great plant for beginners. The Indian Red Sword requires moderate to high lighting, approximately 3 watts per gallon provided by full spectrum (5000-7000K) bulbs. The temperature of the water should be between 72°-82°F, with an alkalinity of 3-8 dKH and a neutral pH. The Indian Red Sword propagates by rhizomes or adventitious shoots that grow off of leaves. A prolific plant under most circumstances, the development of a new leaf once a week is not uncommon.

Aquatic Arts Loma Fern aka Round Pellia aka Süsswassertang Liverwort Mat (Lomariopsis cf. lineata) - 3.6 x 3.6 inches - Live Aquatic Aquarium Plant. Loma Fern/Round Pellia/Süsswassertang Liverwort (Lomariopsis cf. lineata), is an uncommon fern gametophyte that, until a few years ago, was considered to be a liverwort or moss. The German terms Süsswassertang and Sübwassertang translate to freshwater seaweed. This is a great plant to keep in any freshwater aquarium due to its low lighting requirements. It is a slow-growing plant that is capable of living in somewhat coldwater tanks as well as tropical tanks. It grows into bushy patches that are always a favorite hiding place for shrimp and fish fry. We definitely foresee this plant becoming much more popular in the hobby in the near future and we are pleased to offer it in a stainless steel mat form that makes it easy to attach and begin propagating on rocks, driftwood, or aquarium substrate. With care, it can even grow on the walls of the aquarium. The plant is grown outdoors in Taiwan, and may contain a few snails or terrestrial bugs (the bugs will not survive or reproduce underwater). There are some reports that this extremely slow-growing plant does not respond well to some plant fertilizers, so supplement with caution! What We Like About This Plant: - Unique appearance that contrasts nicely with Java Moss and Willow Moss - Can be attached to almost any aquarium décor - Low light requirements - Little to no supplements needed CARE INFORMATION: - Temperature: 68° - 86° F (20° - 30° C) - pH: 5.5 - 7.5 - Lighting: Low to moderate - Origin: Grown in Asia, indigenous to Southeast Asia - Aquarium Placement: Any - Care: Easy All Aquatic Arts brand plants and animals come with a 100% live arrival guarantee, plus free email support!.
