Hermit Crabs are found on sandy areas surrounding reefs rather than moving about on them. These active creatures spend their time scavenging for food and make excellent partners in algae management. If added in large numbers, they will quickly rid the aquarium of algae and will move on to polyps, and other small animals. Will also steal food from sessile invertebrates. | ![]() B07B8BMD1H Availability: Currently unavailable Score: 9.524 Category: Pet Rating: 5 Votes: 1 Find similar productsWorldwideTropicals Live Freshwater Aquarium Fish - 4- to 5 in Gold Nugget Pleco - 4 to 5 in Gold Nugget Pleco Fish Live Tropical Fish - Great for Aquariums - Populate Your Fish Tank!. We are very excited to offer a very new form of our most popular species, Neocaridina davidi … the Green Jade Shrimp! This is one of the most recent forms in the ever-growing varieties of this dwarf shrimp species. Boasting a beautiful deep green coloration (especially with dark substrate), this variety is as sure to quickly rise in popularity. Some specimens have a green-yellow coloration as well. Care for this shrimp is identical to all varieties of Cherry, Neon Yellow, Blue Velvet, Sapphire, Blue/Black Diamond, Chocolate, Snowball, and Rili Shrimp. It is comparably durable as well. This shrimp is a scavenger and is very useful in planted and nano aquariums. The bulk of its diet is biofilm and decaying plant matter so it will work diligently to clear up any aquarium. It feeds constantly, so it displays constant activity. In a less mature aquarium, it should be fed high quality flake and mini pellet dry foods with high spirulina/plant content. What We Like About This Shrimp: - Striking deep green coloration - Completely peaceful with all non-aggressive tankmates - Safe with all plants - Excellent scavenger RECOMMENDED TANK PARAMETERS: - Temperature: 64° - 84° F (17.8° - 28.8° C) - pH: 6.5 - 7.5 - KH: 0 - 10 dKH - Minimum Tank Size: 2 gallons CARE INFORMATION: - Diet: Scavenger that feeds continually. Requires very little feeding in a well-established aquarium containing biofilm, or decaying plant matter. In less mature aquariums, high quality dry foods with high plant content can be fed multiple times daily. - Social Behavior: Peaceful. A small group can continually replenish and grow its population. - Origin: Tank-raised in and indigenous to Taiwan. - Average Adult Size: 1 - 1.5 inches (2.5 - 3.8 cm) - Average Purchase Size: .5 - 1 inches (1.3 - 2.5 cm). | ![]() B07MZR4DBQ Availability: Currently unavailable Score: 8.621 Category: Pet Rating: 3.9 Votes: 6 Find similar productsAquatic Arts 1 B-Grade Ghost Crayfish | Live Freshwater Aquarium Lobster/Crawfish/Crawdad/Real Living Fish Tank Pet. The Ghost Crayfish (a very rare color morph of Procambarus clarkii) is arguably the most beautiful freshwater crayfish available anywhere in the world! The buzz surrounding this crayfish is due to its incredible red, white, and blue coloration. We ship these out as 2+ inch young adults that already include those colors, but they may increase or brighten as the crayfish matures. This crayfish will eat almost any meat or plant-based foods, and it often eats aquatic plants. As it grows, the Ghost Crayfish may behave aggressively towards other animals. It is important to provide ample hiding places, such as a PVC pipe assortment. Large crayfish require an aquarium filter (e.g. bio wheel filter) to keep the tank water clear. An aquarium pump is also a must, e.g. an aquarium sump pump with a return pump and overflow box. This is a very hardy animal, but regular water changes are vital to its health. Other bottom- dwelling invertebrates (e.g. eating snails) and fish should not be kept with large crayfish. It is possible to keep mid- and upper-level, fast-swimming fish with the Ghost Crayfish (such as Guppies, Endlers, and Mollies), but crayfish are opportunistic feeders and will generally eat whatever they can catch. All of our B-Grade crayfish are simply specimens that are missing legs or claws that we offer at an extra discounted price. Loss of limbs is not permanent and happens very commonly with crustaceans. They are very healthy, of great quality, and will completely regenerate lost appendages within 1 to 2 molts (about 2 to 3 months). CARE GUIDELINES: - Temperature: 65°- 76° F (18° - 24° C) - pH: 6.5 - 7.5 - KH: 6 - 15 dKH - Minimum tank size: 30 gallons - Average adult size: 4 - 5 inches (10 - 12.7 cm) body length minus claws - Average purchase size: 2+ inches (5+ cm). |

The Chopstick Snail (Stenomelania torulosa) is an excellent scavenger and substrate sifter with a unique, spike-shaped appearance. Though it is native to the warm Sulawesi lake system and other waterways of Indonesia, this snail can thrive in lower water temperatures than many other Sulawesi animals. This snail is very slow moving and spends most of its time climbing aquarium terrain and burrowing in the substrate. It is great at keeping your gravel or aquarium soil naturally aerated and free of biofilm and gases that build up within it, and it can do this without harming any plant root. Feeding and care is very easy for the hardy Chopstick Snail. It requires the same maintenance and conditions as most tropical aquarium snails. It will eat nearly any high-quality dry and frozen foods, but it will also feed heavily on biofilm and decaying plant matter in the aquarium. It does not harm aquarium plants, so it is completely safe to keep in a planted tank. This snail is a very slow aquarium breeder as well (females will only produce one offspring at a time), so you should not have to worry about snail overpopulation in your home aquarium. They are similar in appearance to Malaysian Trumpet Snails, but do not breed nearly as fast. They are peaceful and thus safe to keep with nonaggressive freshwater fish (such as Danio fish, Corydora Catfish, etc.), dwarf shrimp, large shrimp, and other freshwater snails. Basic aquarium supplies are required when raising these snails, such as a tank filter system (e.g. reactor filter, poly filter etc.) and perhaps an aquarium air diffuser (such as an air stones). CARE GUIDELINES: - Temperature: 72° - 86° F (22° - 30° C) - pH: 7.0 - 8.2 - KH: 2 - 12 dKH - Minimum tank size: 5 gallons per snail - Average adult size: 1 - 2.5 (2.5 - 3.8 cm) - Average purchase size: 1/2 - 1 (1.3 - 6.4 cm). | ![]() B079K6CZ5M Availability: Currently unavailable Score: 8.197 Category: Pet Rating: 5 Votes: 2 Find similar productsWorldwideTropicals Live Freshwater Aquarium Fish - 3.5-4 Green Phantom Pleco L200 - by Live Tropical Fish - Great For Aquariums - Populate Your Fish Tank!. . |

The Echinodorus ‘Barthii’ is a decorative and beautiful plant for large aquariums. It becomes 25-50 cm tall and the whole rosette 20-30 cm wide. The leaves change colour from dark-red in the youngest leaves to dark-green in the oldest. The colour develops well when the light intensity is high and there are sufficient micro-nutrients in the aquarium. A nutritious bottom and CO2 addition promote growth. This plant takes a lot of light from plants underneath, so it must be pruned occasionally. It used to be sold as Double Red. |
